Giving Back to the Community

A long time ago, the Royal River was an important part of life here in our neck of the woods, powering mills and allowing a community to grow and flourish. Nowadays, we see what the river helped to create. We believe that ordinary people can come together to make a big difference, too, in helping to create a community that continues that growth.

Our “Ripple to River” program is highlighting Make-A-WishⓇ Maine this month, an important organization in our community that could use your help.

Even a small, individual act of kindness can “ripple out” into something significant for kids that are facing challenges nobody ever wants to face. One person’s donation, no matter how small, can combine with others to bring comfort and positive change to a family facing unimaginable challenges after their child has been diagnosed with a critical illness.

Ripple to River will highlight one Maine-based organization each month that focuses on supporting these children.

Cares for Kids Radiothon, March 11-March 13, 2021

FRANK 107.5 and 99.9 The Wolf will be broadcasting live Thursday, March 11th from 6 AM – 7 PM, Friday 6 AM – 6 PM, and Saturday 8 AM – 3 PM.

100% of the funds raised during the Cares for Kids Radiothon will stay local and support the programs and services at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center.

A message from Scott Libby, owner: At Royal River Heat Pumps we care about a lot of things, like your home comfort, energy efficiency, our co-workers and their families, but most of all, we care about children. I know first hand about the work that happens at Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, that’s why I’m asking you to donate today, and help us Care for Kids.
